An official security source said on Wednesday that an explosion targeted a convoy carrying logistical support for the international coalition in Saladin governorate, north of the Iraq, Baghdad.
The source said that “an explosive device had exploded targeting a convoy of logistical support for the US-coalition forces, on the highway in Saladin. The source did not give any further details.
The frequency of attacks targeting columns of trucks transporting international coalition supplies has escalated over the past few weeks.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attacks.
