Lebanese Army Imposes Strict Measures in Parliament to Secure Vote Session

Ahead of the Lebanese parliamentary session held Tuesday to discuss the ministerial statement and conduct a confidence vote, the major opposing blocs (Al-Mustaqbal and Lebanese Forces), announced attendance without granting confidence to the new government.

The Lebanese army units have taken strict measures to secure the session amid calls issued by the protesters groups to block roads in order to prevent the MPs from reaching the parliament headquarters.
