Lebanese Protest Over US Military Official Visit to Beirut

Lebanese people staged a mass protest at the entrance of Beirut International Airport on Wednesday over the visit of the US head of Central Command Gen. Kenneth F. McKenzie Jr. to the Arab country.

According to Arab media, clashes erupted between Lebanese army troops and a number of demonstrators who managed a gathering on the road leading to the Beirut International Airport, in a show of protest against the visit.

Lebanese media reported that the protesters raised the banners of the Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah, stressing that this stand is to protests against the American interference in Lebanese internal affairs.
