MWM and Islami Tehreek leaders meet in Gilgit to explore electoral alliance.
Allama Agha Ali Rizvi led Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen team while Allama Shaikh Mirza Ali led Islami Tehreek Pakistan team during talks.

Others who attended the meeting included: Ilyas Siddiqui, Rizwan Ali, Arif Qanbari and Ghulam Abbas, etc.
Both sides thrashed out the possibility of their electoral alliance, seat adjustments and common stance on key issues such as Land Revenue Act.
Summarily, they focused on the GB government’s corruption, violation of merit and transfers and postings of officials for pre-polls rigging.
Besides, Land Revenue Act also came under discussion.
Meanwhile, Allama Syed Ali Rizvi took the ITP leaders into confidence about his meeting with Chief Secretary.
Furthermore, he explained his viewpoint on Land Revenue Act.
He emphasised united efforts to stop government from corruption and measures relating pre-polls rigging.
Although, the electoral alliance and seat adjustments also remain as option on the table, the meeting lay foundation for those future talks.
