Qureshi underscored the need for immediate lifting of sanctions and extending humanitarian assistance to enable Iranian authorities to save precious human lives.
The French Foreign Minister agreed with the Foreign Minister’s assessment of the situation in Iran.
He also agreed on the need to provide debt relief to developing countries.
Le Drian expressed his intention to raise the lifting of sanctions on Iran with the IMF.
He also agreed to play role for providing debt relief to developing countries at the G-20.
FM Qureshi emphasizes French counterpart on coordinated world approach to combat coronavirus.
Meanwhile, he also expressed deep concern over the continuing communication and movement lockdown in Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

China demands lifting of US sanctions
China also demanded lifting of US sanctions against Iran in the wake of fight against coronavirus pandemic.
Ambassador of China to the United Nation Zhang Jun said this in a tweet.
According to him, US sanctions have created critical situation in Iran fighting coronavirus.
Earlier, the spokesman of the Chinese Foreign Ministry Geng Shuang said that the US sanctions has limited the Iran’s power to fight with the pandemic.
Russia also has made similar demand besides Pakistan.
But President Trump led US administration has not lifted sanctions. Instead, the US have imposed new sanctions.
