Allama Asadi warns against restrictions on azadari on the pretext of Coronavirus.
MWM Punjab chapter secretary general vowed Shia Muslims don’t tolerate any restriction on azadari.
Allama Asadi warns against restrictions
Allama Abdul Khaliq Asadi expressed these views, while addressing meeting of Punjab chapter of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM).
The meeting expressed concern over plots to restrict the azadari during Moharram on the pretext of Coronavirus.
MWM Punjab secretary general said all Shia Muslims remain on same on the matter of azadari (sacred mourning rituals on martyrdoms of infallible Imams; especially Imam Hussain).
He said they would hold meetings with license/permit holders and hosts and organizers of mourning congregations and processions.
Many in Pakistan believe that Saudi monarchy is dictating anti Shia discrminatory policy in Pakistan.
They refer to this very fact that all non-Shias were holding their religious gatherings during Ramazan and even throng bazaars and markets for shopping without observing social distance. Even then, they gave an impression as though the government had not allowed them anything.
They freely practice their religious rituals and regular outing on daily basis.
Unfortunately, they mislead people against Shia Muslims rituals.
Shias had brought out a symbolic azadari procession due to SOPs regarding Coronavirus but non-Shias had made many violations of SOPs that spread Coronavirus in the country.
As a matter of fact, they follow Saudi Wahhabism nowadays because Saudi monarchy has given the highest award to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Ironically, these hypocrites didn’t even object to Holi which Pakistani Hindus celebrated in March 2020 violating the social distancing rules.
Shia Muslims lament this double standard and hypocrisy and discriminatory policy of the government.
But Islamabad remains stuck between Saudi Umayyad model and Jinnah’s Pakistan which Imran Khan has updated with the narrative of State o Madinah.
