Allama Baqir Zaidi demands lifting of ban on Shia Islamic scholars since they never violate code of ethics and law.
Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) Sindh secretary general made this demand in a statement today.
Allama Baqir Zaidi demands lifting of ban
He condemned the unfair ban on Shia Muslims, while citing the fact that qualified Shia Islamic scholars preach unity of Ummah and humanity.
Furthermore, he rejected the ban on moderate and peace-loving and law-abiding Shia Islamic scholars as unjustifiable.
He cited even Sunnis respect and adore Shia Islamic scholars such as Allama Syed Shahenshah Hussain Naqvi.
Earlier, Allama Shahenshah Naqvi issued a warning he would not address azadari majalis in protest against unjust ban.
However, the government later apologized and clarified its position and corrected the erroneous notification which Home Department issued earlier.
Particularly, Shia Muslims commemorate martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussain-led martyrs of Karbala.
Shias hold mourning congregations and bring out mourning processions to mark the anniversary.
Imam Hussain was grandson of Hazrat Mohammad (BUH), the God’s last apostle and Prophet of Islam and the entire humanity.
On the orders of Umayyad tyrant despot Yazid bin Muavia, Kufa Governorate’s Umayyad army had imposed war on Imam Hussain and massacred the grandson of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and his relatives and companions.
World history includes this part of history as Battle of Karbala 61 A.H. (After Hijrat-the migration year)
