Shia organizations’ Bhakkar chapter have given the administration June 14 deadline for arrest of all culprits involved in attacks on Shia populace and shops leaving many of them injured.
Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, Imamia Students Organisation and others have warned that in case the terrorists were not arrested, they would launch a Bhakkar-wide protest.
They said that the culprits belonging to banned terrorist group Sipah-e-Sahaba were also involved in graffiti in which they profaned the sanctity of Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa, last Prophet and apostle of God (SAWW) and his progeny (Peace be upon them).
After successful June 10 Quran-o-Ahl-e-Bait Conference in Bhakkar, the terrorist group on June 11 attacked Shias houses and shops and carried out graffiti. They had given a call for shutdown strike that failed because business remained opened. Traders association also turned a deaf ear to the strike call.
Shia organisations have asked the administration to take notice of banned terrorist group’s Molvi Abdul Hameed. They staged a rally that was taken out from Linten road.
