An â€œAll Shia Parties Conferenceâ€ expressed its protest against judiciary for acquitting terrorists.
Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, Shia Action Committee, Haiyat-e-Aimma-e-Masajid wa Ulema, ISO, Asgharia and many other parties and groups attended the conference. Shia Ulema Council and Federation of Shia Madaris didnâ€™t attend.
Final communiquÃ© released at the end of the conference said that the security agencies had arrested the culprits of terrorism but either judiciary granted bail or acquitted them.
â€œWe protest the judiciary because no major culprit has so far been punished,â€ Allama Amin Shaheedi, deputy secretary general of the MWM read the excerpts from the communiquÃ© at post-conference press conference.
The conference demanded of the judiciary to take suo motu action against the terrorists involved in the genocide of Shia Muslims.
Representatives of Shia parties from Sindh, Punjab, Balochistan, Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan expressed their views while speaking at the conference. Some legislators belonging to other parties also participated in the conference. They said that the takfiri groups serve the interest of enemies of Islam and they are detrimental for Islam and Muslims.
The joint communiquÃ© stressed on the need of unity of Shia Muslims and joint course of action on the issues facing them. It assured a united stance against the targeted murders of Shiites. It said all institutions have failed stop genocide of Shiites therefore armed forces should come forward to do this job and Quetta city should be given under army control.
The communiquÃ© vowed to defend Pakistan against internal and external enemies.
It condemned the terrorism in Pakistan, Iraq, Afghanistan, Bahrain, Yemen, Palestine and Myanmar.
The conference condemned the blasphemous movie â€œInnocence of Muslimsâ€ and demanded of Pakistan government to expel U.S. diplomats to protest against the anti-Islam film.
Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri, Allama Juma Asadi, head of the MWM, Haider Ali Mirza, Maulana Hassan Salahuddin, Allama Maqsood Domki, Allama Aijaz Behishti, Maulana Mirza Yousuf Hussain, Pir Syed Nobahar Shah, dr. Ghazanfar Mehdi and several other participants spoke.
They vowed to strengthen the unity among Shiites and end weakness of the Millat. They said that Shiites are first defence line of Pakistan therefore enemies of Pakistan always tried to weaken them. They said that Punjab Minister Rana Sanaullah had got 273 terrorists released so far. They said the targeted murders of Shias are aimed at forcing them to think against Pakistan. They said anti-Shia thought penetrated the key individuals of the state institutions.
