Allama Mukhtar Imami and Allama Sabil Hassan Mazahiri have been reelected as secretary general of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Sindh and Khyber Pukhoonkhwa chapters respectively.
â€œYaad-e-Roohullah (RA) Conventionâ€ was held in Hyderabad where election was held to elect new secretary general for the provincial chapter of Sindh. Three names were put forward as candidates in the election. Maulana Imdad Nasimi and Maulana Sadiq Taqvi secured less votes than Allama Imami who was declared elected.
Allama Nasir Abbas Jafari, MWMâ€™s secretary general, Allama Haider Ali Javadi, Maulana Baqar Abbas Zaidi and Maulana Naqi Hashmi spoke at the convention. They said that during next three years, efforts would be made for strong formation and stability of the organizational set up of the party.
At â€œThoughts of Imam Khomeiniâ€ convention of the MWM at Imam Bargah Haji Malik Rehman Peshawar, election for new provincial secretary general was also held. Allama Sabil Mazahiri secured more votes than Allama Irshad Ali and Abdul Hussain Hussain and won the election.
Allama Amin Shaheedi, deputy secretary general of the MWM, Allama Javad Hadi and other officials of the party spoke and congratulated him over his reelection.
