Islamabad witnessed a large gathering on Sunday at “Protecting Pakistan Conference (PPC)” commemorating the anniversary of Shaheed Quaid Allama Arif Hussain al-Husseini to include not only include shia Ulema, Zakirin, Poets, Noha & Manqabat Khwan, religious and political parties but Ahle-Sunnat Clerics as well.
Majlis Wahdat ul Muslimeen (MWM) Pakistan Central Secretary General Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri entrance at the PPC was warmly applauded and welcomed with chants of “Labaik Ya Hussain”.
Ejaz Ahmed, a senior citizen attending the conference, said that Islambad today is witnessing this warm welcome due Allama Nasir’s efforts and struggle for the shiite nation that is commendable
MWM spokesman affirmed media 10,000 or more people are in attendance which has come to show solidarity with the heir of Shaheed Quaid Allama Arif Husseini. He anticipated more to come as the program prolongs. The conference has around 8,000 chairs which could be seen occupied.
