In what appeared to hurt the feelings of millions of peace-loving Pakistanis, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police hosted notorious takfiri Deobandi terrorists of proscribed ASWJ, renamed version of banned Sipah-e-Sahaba at a security meeting in Peshawar.
ASWJ or Sipah-e-Sahaba is mother organization of Lashkar-e-Jhangvi and all these outfits were banned due to their terrorist activities.
Proscribed ASWJ notorious terrorist Ismail Darwesh and some other notorious ringleaders were invited at a security meeting to discuss how to maintain peace during Moharram. That means that terrorists are being consulted for peace during Moharram, first month of Islamic calendar and sacred for Sunni and Shia Muslims due to martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussain (AS) and his companions.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province is run by a coalition government led by Imran Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Jamaat-e-Islami remains its integral part. Imran Khan and KP chief minister Pervaiz Khattak had been claiming for a long time that they made KP police non-political but hosting ASWJ terrorists at Moharram security meeting was a proof that KP police was being sectarianized in favour of Wahhabis-allied Deobandi takfiris for their pro-Saudi stance or due to Saudi patronage.
