APC seeks clarification on failures of previous anti-terrorists operations

The joint communiqué adopted unanimously at an All-Party Conference has demanded of the relevant state authorities to apprise people of the reasons behind failures of those operations conducted in past against the terrorists and also make public findings of various commissions formed in the past.

Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen hosted the APC in Islamabad yesterday where representatives of major opposition parties having representation in the Parliament attended and endorsed the joint statement of the APC.
The APC demanded that Parliament should endorse the national security related decisions so that a clear message should go to the world that civil and military leaderships are on same page.
The APC declared that takfirism including Daesh (ISIL group) posed serious threat to Pakistan hence the APC demands crackdown on takfiris and their facilitators. It demanded stern action against them and more powers to the law enforcement agencies to do so.
The APC demands the ministry of religious affairs to convene a national conference and condemn takfiris (Daesh) officially and work for inter-sectarian harmony.
The APC support operation Raddu Fasaad and demanded of the Afghan government to take action against the terrorists hiding inside Afghanistan and perpetrated terrorism in Pakistan using Afghan soil.
The final communiqué of APC vowed that Pakistan’s prosperity and integrity required all to act upon the ideology of Mohammad Ali Jinnah and Allama Iqbal to make Pakistan a country where all of its citizens enjoy fundamental rights.
Former Chairman Senate Syed Nayyar Hasnanin Bukhari of Pakistan People’s Party, Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Ejaz Chaudhry of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, Senator Afrasiyab Khattak of Awami National Party, Senator Tanveerul Haq Thanvi of MQM, Mian ASlam of Jamaat-e-Islami, Raja Basharat of PMLQ, Ahmed Raza Qasoori of All Pakistan Muslim League, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur of Pakistan Awami Tehreek, Sahibzada Hamid Raza of Sunni Ittehad Council, Sahibzada Abul Khair Zubair of Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan, Shehzad Asif of Pak Sarzameen Party, Syeda Abida Bukhari of Siraiki Party, eminent scholars and civil society and rights activists participated in the All-Party Conference in Islamabad on Tuesday. Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari, MWM chief also spoke.
