A low-intensity bomb went off in Quetta on Saturday, injuring seven persons, three policemen including Shia SP Shaban Ali.Accordinmg to the Shiite News Correspondent,DIG Operation Hamid Shakil Â told Â that the bomb, planted in a car, was exploded with a remote-controlled device.
The blast occurred at a time when a police van was passing from Alamdar Road. The bomb partially damaged the police van and some nearby building.Back to top button
Rescue teams rushed to the scene and shifted the injured to nearby hospitals. Security agencies have cordoned off the area and started investigation into the attack.
There are no immediate reports of casualties.
