Abdulkarim Abdullah, deputy head of Malaysia’s Islamic studies center, told IRNA that Iran has never exercised violence against any country.
As to 8-year Iraqi imposed war against Iran, he reiterated that the Islamic Republic has always been a victim of violence.
Condemning the Western sanctions imposed on Iran, he stressed that such moves were made as a result of the country’s peaceful nuclear activities in the past three decades.
He expressed hope that the two sides would reach a comprehensive deal, noting that if Western states want, an agreement will be reached soon.
Condemning occupation of Palestinian territories by the Zionist regime, Abdullah called for establishment of sustainable peace through materialization of justice.
