An Egyptian journalist who worked in Bahrain said that he decided to return home after he discovered that the newspaper he traveled to work for “was established to attack the Shiite majority in the name of the King”.
In an article entitled “There are no journalists in heaven” and published in the Egyptian “Al-Shorouk” newspaper, Journalist Mohammed Mousa explained: “I discovered a few days after I arrived to Bahrain that I am working for a newspaper established to attack the Shiite majority in the name of the King”.
“I released for the very first time there that I am a Sunni Muslim yet religion cannot turn into a profession. Thus, I returned home after a few weeks.”
