The regime in Bahrain has been systematically targeting its victims’ relatives who have been calling to hold those who killed their sons and relatives accountable.
The authorities have jailed the father of Martyr Ali Al-Shaikh, after summoning him to be interrogated. The martyr Ali was shot dead with a teargas canister in his hometown Sitra.
Within the ongoing systematic targeting measures, the regime has also summoned the father of the martyr Hussain Al-Jazeeri, 15 years old, who was shot dead at a close range last year by a police officer. He was summoned to attend the police station to be interrogated for participating in rallies that call for accountability and end to impunity. Ironically, the regime is jailing the victims instead of bringing the killers to justice.
