In the Name of God, the Most Beneficent, the Most Mercifu
The Islamic Awakening began from a growing and new wave of Islamic awareness and among the people of the region [Middle East]. The oppressed people of the region have frustrated the global arrogance and the pressures which they have imposed, the colonialists, and those who seek to exploit the internal conditions, by basing their thought on the teachings of pure Muhammadan Islam, which has a rich social and political vision, and their chants and cries for Islam and freedom.
At this critical juncture in history, the Islamic lands of Syria, Iraq and other regional countries have been set aflame by Takfirism and the terrorists of DAESH (ISIL). The invasion of Yemen by the Saudi regime has led to the martyrdom of a large number of people, including women and children and has further set aflame the region. These violations have occurred with the support of the United States of America and the usurping Zionist regime. Many of their policies have been conducted scandalously and reprehensively under the banner of international law.
The Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom strongly condemn the aggressive actions taken by Saudi Arabia and its allies as well as Saudi Arabia’s blatant interference in Yemen. As soon as possible, we demand an end to these attacks. The Yemeni people must be allowed to make their own decisions in regard to their country.
In conclusion, we ask God Almighty to grant the martyrs the highest rank and to grant the injured a speedy recovery.
May the peace, mercy, and blessings of God be with you,
Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom28 March, 2015
