The Supreme Leader of Iran’s Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, met with several prominent sources of emulation during a trip to Iran’s holy city of Qom on April 11, where they discussed current events.
No information revealed about the details of the meeting and the issues that might have been discussed.
During the trip, Ayatollah Khamenei met with Ayatollahs Vahid Khorasani, Hoseyn Nouri-Hamadani and Ja’far Sobhani and also travelled to Qom’s famous Jamkaran Mosque, where they prayed for the hasty reappearance of Imam Muhammad al-Mahdi.
Last week, the Supreme Leader met with Ayatollahs Sayyed Musa Shobeyri-Zanjani and Naser Makarem-Shirazi.
Many of Qom’s renowned sources of emulation attended and participated in the funeral ceremony held in Qom for the Leader’s sister, Sayyedeh Fatemeh Khamenei, who passed away on March 21. They offered their deepest condolences to the bereaved leader.
