Ayatollah Khamenei’s representative: High turnout in elections symbol of of dignity, authority

Speaking to officers and staff of the IRGC in Bojnourd, Hujjat al-Islam Hoseyn Zahmatkesh, Ayatollah Khamenei’s Representative in the Hazrat Javad al-Aemmeh Corps of North Khorasan Province said that the living memory of Iran’s martyrs and of martyrdom is one of the reasons for the survival of Islamic Revolution.

He stressed: “We all have a duty to keep the memory of the martyrs alive because the blood of the martyrs of the Revolution and the Islamic system of government is an insurance for the Revolution.”

Referring to the upcoming elections for the tenth Majles (Parliament) and for the fifth Assembly of Experts, Hujjat al-Islam Zahmatkesh noted the importance of the upcoming elections in view of the guidelines of the Supreme Leader, saying: “As [Ayatollah Khamenei] said, today the ideology of the Islamic Revolution has conquered every inch of the world as a phenomenon which has disrupted all of the enemies’ calculations.”

Ayatollah Khamenei’s Representative in the Hazrat Javad al-Aemmeh Corps added that according to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution’s guidelines, the presence of the vast majority of the people at the ballot box and electing the most suitable candidates are two important principles of the survival of Islamic Revolution in the present era.

His Eminence that a high turnout in the elections will be a symbol of dignity and authority of the Islamic system in the domestic and international arena, and said: “Everyone should strive to achieve this important goal on February 26th.”

Hujjat al-Islam Zahmatkesh pointed out that one of the requirements of the Islamic system is to protect its dignity and authority and that with a high turnout in the elections, Iran’s dignity and authority in the domestic and international arenas will increase.
