In further remarks, Tehran interim Friday Prayer leader referred to the demonstrations of students in Britain and said that while the British administration claims to support human rights, the British police brutally cracked down on the students’ peaceful protests, and wounded dozens of them.
At the beginning of his sermon, Hojjatoleslam Seddiqi also referred to the Event of Ashura in Karbala, and martyrdom of the Third Infallible Imam of the Prophet of Islam, Mohammad (PBUH) Household, Imam Hussein (AS), extending condolences to mourners of Ashura, while adding that the Event of Ashura is the most beautiful picture painted in the history of creation, which has significantly influenced different scenes.
