Turkish warplanes bombed parts of northern Iraq on Wednesday under the pretext of fighting the Turkish Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK).
Iraqi media quoted Duhok province officials in Kurdistan region as saying Turkish fighters targeted several sites in the Amidiya area and the Matin mountain range.
The sources made no mention of the possible casualties and damages.
Last Sunday, Turkish fighters bombed areas of northern Iraq.
Turkey has repeatedly invaded Iraqi territory in recent years under the pretext of fighting PKK elements.
The invasions have been met with strong reaction from the Iraqi government and other countries around the world.
