Over 20 ISIL Militants Killed in Iraqi Airstrikes in Anbar Province

Military sources declared that some 20 militants, including foreign nationals, have been killed in Iraq’s airstrikes on ISIL strongholds in the Western province of Anbar on Tuesday.

“Iraqi Air Force carried out successful airstrikes against the ISIL Takfiri terrorists, which resulted in the killing of 20 militants, including 15 Arab and foreign suicide bombers, gathering in a house in Qaim in Anbar,” the sources said.

On Saturday, an Iraqi commander said that the country’s army men have fended off an ISIL offensive in the Western battlefronts of Anbar province, and killed at least eight militants.

“The Iraqi army’s Assad Brigade repelled an attack by the ISIL terrorists in the area of Burwana in Haditha district (160 km West of Ramadi), which resulted in the killing of eight ISIL terrorists,” Commander of Assad Brigade General Hamad Abdulrazzaq al-Dulaimi announced.
