A large number of terrorists who were formerly stationed in Northern Hama have been sent to the military positions of Turkistani Party in Northern Lattakia and Northwestern Hama near the borders with Turkey at the order of ringleader of Tahrir al-Sham al-Hay’at (the Levant Liberation Board or the Al-Nusra Front) Abu Mohammed al-Jolani for battle with the Syrian Army.
The Arabic-language website of Russia’s Sputnik news agency quoted local sources in the city of Jisr al-Shoghour in Northwestern Idlib as saying that over 2,000 Jeish al-Izzeh terrorists who had formerly fled from areas under their control towards Ma’aret al-Numan and the city of Idlib due to the Syrian Army’s advances have now been dispatched to areas under control of Turkistani Party.
The local sources pointed to the deployment of the terrorists in battlefronts of Sahl al-Ghab in Northwestern Hama and Northeastern Lattakia near borders with Turkey, and said that the dispatch of the terrorists took place after al-Jolani’s recent meeting with Tahrir al-Sham’s senior commanders.
They also pointed to the deployment of terrorist groups in Sahl al-Ghab and Northeastern Lattakia to confront the Syrian Army, as the Syrian Army is preparing for imminent military operations after the end of ceasefire in Northern Syria.
In a relevant development on Wednesday, the Arabic-language media outlets said that the Syrian Army was fully preparing itself for resuming large-scale military operation in the demilitarized zone as terrorist groups continued to violate the ceasefire.
The Arabic-language al-Watan newspaper quoted local sources in the city of Ma’aret al-Numan in Southern Idlib as saying that Tahrir al-Sham has reinforced its military positions in the city, specially its Southern and Southeastern sections and in al-Tamane’ah with the aim of preventing the Syrian Army advance.
The newspaper noted that the terrorist groups have not retreated from Aleppo-Damascus and Aleppo-Lattakia highways, and said that the Syrian Army is at its highest level of preparedness to resume military operations after the ceasefire comes to an end in the demilitarized zone.
Meantime, the Syrian Army’s battlefield sources pointed to the dispatch of massive military convoys comprising tanks and military equipment to Tal-e al-Zawiqat in Northeastern Lattakia near the strategic Kabaneh region to carry out military operations against the Turkistani Party and Uigurs.
Meantime, the Syrian Air Defense in the Lattakia city downed two drones of the terrorists near Humeimem Air Base.
