The Syrian Army has dispatched massive military convoys to Northern Hama to resume military operations in the region, the Arabic-language media outlets reported.
The Arabic-language website of the Russian Sputnik news agency quoted a Syrian Army military commander as saying that the army has recently sent its special forces known as ‘Tiger Force’ together with massive military equipment to the battlefronts in Northwestern Hama and Southern Idlib, including the newly- liberated towns from the terrorist groups.
It pointed to the arrival of elite forces of the Syrian Army in Northern Syria and their participation in upcoming operations, and said that the Syrian Army will most probably launch its military operation in the region.
Meantime, the Arabic-language al-Watan newspaper reported the Syrian Army air force and artillery units pounded the military positions and movements of terrorists in the surrounding areas of Jisr al-Shoghour, North of Mahradeh, al-Latamineh, Kafar Zita, al-Mouzereh in Northern Hama and Kafar Nubl, Safhoun, Jouzef, Tal’as, al-Naqir and Sheikh Mustafa in Southern Idlib, killing and injuring a large number of militants and destroying their military equipment.
Meantime, a military source reiterated that the Syrian Army’s artillery and missile units destroyed the communication lines, key centers and arms-ammunition depots of terrorists in Northern Hama and Southern Idlib while foiling terrorists’ attempts to penetrate into Syrian Army’s military positions.
In a relevant development on Wednesday, the Syrian army, supported by fighter jets, repelled the terrorists’ heavy attacks on its positions in Northern Hama and Lattakia after militants set up a new operations room.
A large number of terrorists stationed in Northern Syria, including the so-called National Liberation Front, Tahrir al-Sham al-Hay’at (the Levant Liberation Board or the Al-Nusra Front) and Jeish al-Izza attacked the Syrian army’s positions from the town of al-Jalmeh and Kafar Hood near the town of al-Tarmiseh and Tal Othman in Northern and Northwestern Hama.
Meantime, a military source reported that the Syrian army troops killed at least 65 terrorists, wounded tens of others and destroyed a number of military and bomb-laden vehicles, forcing the remaining militants to withdraw during their operations in Hama on Tuesday.
Also, the Arabic-language website of Sputnik reported that the Syrian air force targeted the terrorists’ positions and moves in the towns of al-Latamineh, Hasraya, Kafar Zita, al-Zakah and al-Arbaeen, smashing their supply routes from Khan Sheikhoun and Tarmala in Southern Idlib.

The terrorist groups had earlier set up a new operations room named al-Fatah al-Mobin to confront the Syrian army.
