Shia Ulema Council head Allama Sajid Naqvi highlighted the key points of struggle of former Shia Islamic leaders in Pakistan.
He paid homage to Allama Syed Mohammad Dehlavi, Mufti Jafar Hussain and Allama Arif Hussaini in his speech via video-link.
Most importantly, Karachi-based supporters of SUC gathered at a congregation held to commemorate the martyrs and leaders.
Furthermore, Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi recalled that Shia Islamic leaders played leading role in struggle for collective rights.
Notably, he cited the struggle against dictatorial regime of Zia and his un-Islamic Zakat Ordinance and subsequent alliance with other parties.
Moreover, he emphasised the supporters to act upon that practical ideology and reform themselves with focus on self-piety and ethics.
Meanwhile, Allama Sajid also called for keeping the memories of martyrs and pious leaders alive.
