Six terrorists hailing from Daesh takfiri militant group were killed in an encounter with security forces in Pakistan today.
Most importantly, security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation against Daesh (ISIS/IS) in Quetta’s Eastern Bypass area.
Furthermore, Balochistan Inspector General of Police Mohsin Hassan Butt confirmed the development it.
However, a female militant also included among six Daesh terrorists killed in shootout.
Meanwhile, one official of the Balochistan Constabulary embraced martyrdom while eight others from the Anti-Terrorist Force sustained injuries. And condition of one of whom remains critical, the police chief said.
According to a Counter-terrorism Department (CTD) official, intelligence agencies along with ATF and CTD personnel conducted a raid early in the morning today.
During the operation, an exchange of fire between the militants and security officials took place. That lasted for nearly six hours.
Later, CTD recovered a large quantity of weapons and explosives from the militants.
