Notably, the heirs were carrying portarits of their dear and near ones, demanding end to their enforced disappearance.
Furthermore, they were also carrying banners and placrds and hoisting alam pak and national flag.
The Himayat-e-Mazloomeen rally, however, held under the aegis of Joint Action Committee for Shia Missing Persons. Factually, Shia comunity has be protesting across the country for release of Shia mising persons.
Particularly, they cited that notables such as Engr Mumtaz Rizvi, Zaheeruddin Babar and Yafis Hashmi dont deserve incarceration.
Meanwhile, eminent Shia Islamic scholars spoke and elaborated the issue. They also demanded Pakistan Army Chief to play his due role in release of such victims.
However, they pointed that detainees should have enjoyed their legal right to defend them in court of law. But, unfortunately, the authorities concerned violated law debying incarcerated people legal right.
Noteworthy to refer that the heirs demand the authorities must present them before the courts under article 10 of the Constitution.
Sit in against Shia enforced disappearance held in Karachi camp office of President Arif Alvi in spite of unjustifiable false charges in FIR, media trial and crackdown. That protest began in late April and ended in May 2019.
