Another protest demo for Shia missing persons in Multan held under the aegis of Joint Action Committee.
Particularly, children of some missing Shias also joined the protest outside Multan Press Club.

Notably, Yasoob Hashmi and Qarib Hashmi also protested against enforced disappearance of Yafis Hashmi Advocate.
During the protest, many Shia children showed them gagged.
Furthermore, others raised slogans demanding end to enforced disappearance.
Protesters compare enforced disappearance victims with Kashmiris
Meanwhile, they demanded release of all missing persons particularly Yafis Hashmi, Mumtaz Rizvi and other Shia notables.
Moreover, they further said that Government of Pakistan needs to end enforced disappearance in the country. Otherwise, India would ridicule Pakistan on the issue of Kashmir for the same reason, protesters pointed.
Another protest demo
Shia Muslims have launched a countrywide protest campaign for missing persons of the communtiy.
Earlier, families and supporters of Shia missing persons took out a rally from Lahore Press Club to Governor House. Besides, they were demanding an end to enforced disappearance of Shia notables and scholars.
They also carried banners and raised slogans in support of their demand.
Furthermore, the protesters urged the authorities to end enforced disappearance forthwith. They demand either release Shia missing persons or produce them in court of law.
Moreover, they cited enforced disappearance of notables such Yafis Hashmi advocate and scholar Zaheeruddin Babar. Protesters also urged the authorities concerned must follow law in these cases.
Particularly, they demanded granting undeclared detainees right to legal defence. Protesters urged army chief to play role in ensuring that security agencies must abide by law. Shia community held many protest demonstrations against enforced disappearance.
Recently, families of missing Shia Muslims staged a sit-in outside house of Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi. In Multan, they filed their complaint against enforced disappearance with his camp office.
Meanwhile, protesters reminded Pakistan government she cannot win support on Kashmir by turning Pakistan into Kashmir for Pakistanis.
Shia community seeks state clarification
State authorities and President Dr Arif Alvi must clarify their position on ongoing malicious media trial of Shia community. Shia community made this demand during Karachi protest camapaign.
The community asks whether state sponsors ongoing malicious propaganda campaign against Shiites.
However, end Shia enforced disappearance has become popular slogan of Shia community across Pakistan. Power that be must do justice instead of discriminatory witch-hunt.
