Pak Army commanding officer praises Turi Bangash of Parachinar as strong arm of Pakistan armed forces.
While addressing students at Islamia Public School Nasti Kot, Colonel Javed Iqbal expressed these views.
Pak Army commanding officer
Particularly, he cited that patriot and brave people of Parachinar rendered unmatched sacrifices amid cross border terror attacks.
Furthermore, he said even children of Turi Bangash tribe are soldiers of their motherland Pakistan.
Colonel Javed noted that Parachinar people also supported Pak Army in defence of border.
Moreover, he referred to the recent incident (Taliban raid which Parachinaris aborted) and lauded their bold action.
Meanwhile, Agha Muzammil Hussain, Principal Laiq Hussain and Sir Zahid Hussain also attended the event.
Most importantly, Parachinar remains under constant threat from takfiri terrorists.
Specially, Tehreek-e-Hussaini Parachinar leader Maulana Abid Hussain Jafari also has alerted the authorities.
In this regard, he opposed disarming of the Turi/Bangash tribes. Because, he said that takfiri terrorists in Afghanistan and Pakistan, particularly in the Af-Pak border areas, pose serious threat to their life, honour and property.
He also cited that Pak Army has its headquarter only in Parachinar. And nowhere in the rest of FATA, there was any presence of the army. And that has recently come to FATA due to Operation Zarb-e-Azb.
Maulana Abid said that an army general has shared this information that the takfiri terrorists considered Pakistan Army as deviant and traitor of Islam and also considered Shia Muslims as heathens. Therefore, Tehreek-e-Hussaini leader said they don’t feel them secure and safe in Kurram Agency, even in Parachinar.
Meanwhile, other issues also disturbed them. They have slammed the authorities on the issue of enforced disappearance of innocent Shia Muslims.
