Notably, MWM has a tradition to mark celebrations unde this theme.
Eid Miladul Nabi
Pakistani Muslims celebrate anniversary of Hazrat Mohammad, the last apostle of God and Prophet of Islam and Humanity. Since they consider this day a special and sacred, they celebrate it like Eid festival. Due to that reason, they call it Eid Milad ul Nabi (BUH).
Shia Muslims celebrations
However, Shia parties celebrate it through weeklong programmes.
The great revolutionary leader Imam Khomeini pioneered Hafta-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeem or Week of Muslim Unity from 12th to 17th Rabi-ul-Awwal to mark the Eid Milad-un-Nabi celebrations.
Hence, Shia parties mainly MWM invite Sunnis specially Sunni scholars to such events. There, Sunni-Shia unity gives a clear message that Islamic Ummah remains united for the sake of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
