Allama Raja Nasir calls for unity of Muslims to defeat common enemies as he spoke at the Unity Conference.

His Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) organised the Wahdat Conference in Lahore to mark Eid Miladul Nabi (PBUH).

Particularly, MWM secretary general cited that Sunni and Shia Muslims defeated the takfiris through united efforts.

Unity of Pakistanis underlined at Wahdat Conference of MWM in Lahore where non-Muslims also attended, et alone Muslims.

Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen organised Wahdat Conference to celebrate Eid Miladul Nabi (PBUH) or birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).

Specially, leader of Sikh community Sardar Mehandar Singh Pal also attended to express solidarity with leading Shia Islamic party MWM.

Moreover, Governor Punjab and his spouse and a number of high profile politicians and religious scholars joined the celebrations.

Happy birthday to Hazrat Mohammad (PUH)

All speakers paid tributes to Hazrat Mohammad (BUH), the last apostle of God and Prophet of Islam and Humanity.

They all stressed the need for unity of Muslims and respect for humanity.

Veteran Allama Qazi Niaz Hussain Naqvi, Allama Ghulam Hur Shabbiri, Pir Masoom Naqvi, Dr Raghib Naeemi, Mufti Ashif Hussain and Pir Habib Irfani spoke.

Politcians also spoke

The politicians who spoke included: Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar, Sardar Mehandar, Ejaz Chaudhry of PTI, ex-MPA Agha Raza and MPA Zahra Naqvi.

Shia Islamic partis and particularly MWM observe Muslim Unity Week to celebrate Eid Miladul Nabi (PBUH) in Pakistan.

It observes Hafta Wahdat-e-Muslimeen or Muslim Unity Week from 12th to 17th Rabiul Awwal.

That aims to strengthen intra-Muslim and inter-sectarian unity and brotherhood on occasion of symbols of unity.

Because both Sunni and Shia Muslims revere and adore Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH), the last apostle of God and Imam Jafar Sadiq as symbols of unity.

Factually, Sunni Bralevis of Pakistan celebrate the anniversary on 12th Rabiul Awwal while Shias mark celebrations on 17th.

Notably, Muslim offer special prayers for upholding and flourishing of Islam. They pray for unity, solidarity, progress and welfare of the Muslim ummah after Fajr prayers.
