Speakers at Martyrs Conference at Qalandar shrine slam Sindh government over inaction against terrorists who masterminded suicide bombing at the shrine.

The Martyrs Conference held under the aegis of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen at Lal Shahbaz Qalandar shrine in Sehwan Sharif.

MWM organized the event in commemoration of martyrs of the suicide bombing on the third anniversary of their martyrdom.

Allama Dost Ali Saeedi, Allama Raza Saeedi, Allama Sadiq Jafari, Gul Hassan Murtazavi, Ali Hussain Naqvi, Yaqoob Hussaini, Chaudhry Azhar, Molvi Anwar Ali Jafari and other leaders of MWM spoke.

They said that around 100 devotees embraced martyrdom because of suicide blast at the shrine of Islamic saint.

They lamented that heirs of the martyrs have been running from pillar to post to seek justice but authorities concerned failed to do justice.

Government criticised

MWM leaders criticized the Sindh government for not honouring the promises it made to the heirs of the martyrs of Sehwan Sharif shrine tragedy.

They said that PPP always made people fool by use of sloganeering and empty pledges and promises.

They slammed the PPP’s Sindh government over its reconciliatory attitude towards takfiris of outlawed militant outfits.

Allama Raza Saeedi and other speakers said Sindh government must end its amity with extremists and fanatics because it poses threat to Sindh.

They said that PPP leadership should not rally sectarian hatemongering elements under its umbrella.

These speakers also slammed power that be over enforced disappearance of patriot notables of peaceful Shia community.

They censured biased anti-Shia policy under which outlawed outfits’ militants enjoy official protocol and protection wile peaceful patriot Shias suffer.

Meanwhile, supporters of MWM also observed a vigil to pay homage to martyrs of Sehwan Sharif shrine.

Shia Islamic scholars also prayed for stability and prosperity of Pakistan and Pakistanis.
