Around 700 patients treated and given medicines at free medical camp for eye and dental patients.

MWM Malir, Al Zehra Clinic Ghazi Town and Khadija tul Kubra Foundation jointly organized one-day free medical, eye and dental camp.

Apart from treatment, patients also get free of cost medicines from the camp.

Renowned scholar Allama Mazhar Alvi, MWM leaders Allama Sadiq Jafari and Arif Raza, Khadijatul Kubra Foundation’s director Ali Nayyar Zaidi, and Jafaria Alliance leader Shehzad Rizvi visited the camp.

Together with Zain Rizvi and Ali Ahmer Zaidi, they inspected the process of medical treatment and free medicines distribution.

Around 700 patients treated

 

Family physician Dr Shazia, Dr M Alam, Dr Shehryar Hassan and Dr Iqtidar Kazmi served patients at camps for women, children, dental and eye diseases.

Eye tests of around 250 patients were conducted.

Meanwhile, 80 of the deserving eye patients got glasses. Doctors recommended operation for 30 eye patients.

On the occasion, MWM Malir chapter secretary general Syed Ahsan Abbas Rizvi spoke as a cos-host.

He announced that they would arrange operation and imported lenses for aforesaid 30 patients on February 21.

Moreover, he said that Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen and the co-hosts believe in service of humanity without any discrimination.

He said that MWM had been serving the needy people of earthquake-stricken and rain-hit areas in the past.

Ahsan Abbas further said that they would continue to serve the humanity to rid them of suffering.

Patients also thanked the organisers of the camp for their altruistic services.
