Allama Raja Nasir asks Pakistan Tehran embassy to help Pakistani pilgrims in view of Coronavirus related rumours.

MWM Pakistan secretary general Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari made this demand while reacting to Balochistan government measures.

His statement came after Pakistan government closed Taftan border with Iran.

He alerted that these measures might create multiple problems for those Pakistani Zaireen (pilgrims) who have to prolong stay in Iran due to border closure.

Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen secretary general said that Pakistani zaireen who travel by road belongs to lower-middle economic class.

Moreover, he said that due to their limited resources, they cannot bear the additional expenses of unscheduled stay in Iran.

Therefore, he demanded embassy of Pakistan in Iran to help and assist those Pakistanis with regard to stay with food.

However, he made clear that closure of border with Iran is being reviewed with different aspects.

Health/security of every citizen always remain preferred but every action must be based on good faith, he said.

Allama Raja Nasir said that if pilgrims continue to visit Iran from other countries, then Pakistan government would also have to reconsider its decision.

Because, closure of Taftan border cannot be prolonged on the basis of Coronavirus rumours.

Earlier, Allama Sajid Naqvi had opposed restrictions on Zaireen due to Coronavirus.
