MWM leader talks to Religious Affairs Minister on Zaireen problems who are stuck at Taftan border nowadays.

Syed Asad Abbas Naqvi discussed lack of facilities during his meeting with Federal Minister Pir Noorul Haq Qadri in Islamabad.

Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen political affairs secretary asked Mr. Qadri to ensure that government of Pakistan take needed steps to help Pakistani pilgrims.

He said that hundreds of Pakistani pilgrims have to prolong to stay in Iran because of closure of Taftan border and suspension flights.

Asad Abba Naqvi called on federal minister Qadri in the wake of Coronavirus related reports and measures.

Meanwhile, Minister for Religious Affairs Pir Noorul Haq Qadri assured him that the PTI government was taking the Zaireen problems seriously.

He said that the government is also exploring possible mechanism to help Pakistani pilgrims.

He said that the government of Pakistan is also considering airlifting of the Pakistani pilgrims from Iran.

Minister Qadri said that to help Zaireen (pilgrims) and resolve their problems remain the priority of the incumbent government.

MWM condemns harassment of Pilgrims and Caravan Operators

Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Sindh chapter and Pilgrims Caravan Operators have rejected the Coronavirus related media hype against pilgrims.

MWM provincial deputy secretary general Ali Hussain Naqvi, Allama Sadiq Jafari and Allama Mubashir Hasan and others addressed a joint press conference in Karachi.

MWM condemns harassment of Pilgrims

They condemned the malicious propaganda containing overt sectarian hatred against pilgrims of Imam Reza’s holy shrine.

They reminded the media and the state authorities that Coronavirus originated from China and South Korea and Italy also remained the most affected by the Coronavirus.

They expressed dismay that no such steps they see on China and other affected countries but only Pakistani pilgrims remain the target of Coronavirus related measures.

MWM leaders expressed solidarity with pilgrims and operators of pilgrimage caravans (sort of travel agents). They also demanded that government must ensure respectful return of Pakistani pilgrims from Iran.
