ISO announces campaign for Shia Missing Persons from July 6, 2020 during a hurriedly-called press conference in Dera Ismail Khan.
Imamia Students Organisation Pakistan’s general secretary Ali Owais made this announcement. Other officials and Shia notables accompanied him.

He said the community would not sit comfortably until the end of enforcement disappearance of patriot Shia Muslims.
He termed it illegal detention and vowed that they would continue their protest against such unlawful detention.
The ISO leader also narrated the history of enforced disappearance of patriot and innocent Shia detainees.
Notably, he cited the families of these victims ran from pillar to post to seek justice but none among the authorities concerned did justice.
Even elderly grandmothers, children, women, youths, all age group people have protested.
They held sit-in protest outside Karachi residence President of Pakistan Dr Arif Alvi but to no avail.
