Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif registered his opposition to the Israeli plan in a tweet which he posted on his twitter account.

He said Israel’s plan to annex the Palestinian territory of the West Bank and Jordan Valley flagrantly disregards the international law.
Furthermore, he also urged Pakistan government to take up this issue with OIC, the UN and world powers.
Earlier Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Aisha Farooqui had said Pakistan remain opposed to any move aim at annexation of the occupied Palestinian territories. She termed a serious violation of international law.
She said Pakistan renews its call for establishment of a viable, independent and contiguous State of Palestine, on the basis of internationally agreed parameters, the pre-1967 borders, and with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its Capital.
Moreover, Pakistan had also expressed deep concern over the relocation of the US embassy in occupied Jerusalem.
The MOFA also noted the U.S. action a clear violation of international law, especially UN Security Council Resolutions.
Pakistan has not established diplomatic relations with Israel since the day one due to Palestine policy of the founding fathers of the country.
