A faction of the notorious Deobandi takfiri outlawed outfit Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) on Saturday claimed responsibility for the Imambargah blast in Chittian Hatian area of Rawalpindi, which left 8 Shia Muslims martyred and 18 injured.
“We claim responsibility of the attack on the Imambargah and vow to continue such attacks,” spokesman of Jamaat-ul-Ahrar faction of TTP, Ehsanullah Ehsan, said in an email.
