Allama Shabbir ul Hassan Tahiri led the namaz-e-janaza of the Shia martyrs who were assassinated at their betel leaf shop and auto spare parts shop respectively in two areas of Korangi. They were targeted on Saturday night. Interment took place on Sunday.

Speaking to the mourners at the funeral, Allama Amin Shaheedi, Deputy Secretary General of the MWM, condemned the takfiri terrorists for the genocide against Shia Muslims. He denounced Sindh Government for its failure to crush the takfiri terrorist networks.

“Religious and political takfiris have made District Korangi and District Central of Karachi a slaughter house where they murder Shia Muslims without any action from the government and security officials,” he said.

He censured the Sindh Government for failure to honour its commitment under the agreement with the MWM after its sit-in near CM House 8 months ago. He asked the Sindh Government to issue licences and permits for arms to Shia shopkeepers, businessmen, professionals and youths so that they could protect themselves if the government lack will or resources to ensure their safety and security.

“Takfiris are being patronized by some religious seminaries hence such seminaries should be sealed and their patrons should be taken to task and all efforts be made to arrest and punish the terrorists,” He demanded.
