Shia religious speakers urge govt to act upon National Action Plan

Shia religious speakers (orators) of Zakireen have expressed their full support to the National Action Plan and urged the government to act upon the plan in letter and spirit to eliminate the terrorists.

They gathered at All Pakistan Convention of Shia orators and preachers, held under the aegis of Movement to Protect Shia legitimate rights to act upon their creed at Imam Bargah Shah Allah Ditta in Islamabad. Maddah Hussain Shah and Agha Ali Hussain Najafi were main leaders at the Convention.

 

Ali Raza Khokhar Advocate read out the declaration that stressed on Shia-Sunni unity saying that both played key role under the leadership of Mohammad Ali Jinnah, founder of Pakistan, himself a Shia Muslim.

It said that General Zia ul Haq, the martial law dictator fanned sectarianism patronizing terrorists and fanatics under a global plot to turn Pakistan into an intolerant sectarian state but Agha Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, head of present Tehrik-e-Nifaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafaria (TNFJ) resisted the conspiracy. It cited that Mufti Jafar-led Pakistani Shia Muslims defeated the plots of un-elected dictatorial military regime of General Zia.

The Shia Convention demanded the government to implement Junejo-Mousavi agreement that PML’s Prime Minister Mohammad Khan Junejo signed with Hamid Shah Mousavi. It said that takfiris were out to poison the brotherly and friendly environment of Pakistan. It demanded that banned/outlawed/proscribed outfits should not be allowed to continue their activities under any name or pretext.

The participants expressed their trust in the leadership of Allama Hamid Ali Shah Mousavi. They condemned the broadcast of banned terrorist outfit’s leaders by news channels in Pakistan and urged the government to act upon national action plan forthwith.
