The leading Shiite Organization of Pakistan has decided to organize the countrywide protest day on Friday against the brutal killing of Shia Muslims in Pakistan.
Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) and Imamia Students Organization (ISO) have announced staging countrywide protest demonstration on Friday across the country against the killing of passengers in Babusar (Khyber-Pukhtoonkhwa Province) and planted blast on Al-Quds rally in Karachi.
Maulana Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri, secretary general of the MWM and Athar Imran of the ISO said Government and law enforcement agencies had failed to protect the Pakistani citizens and Shia Muslims from the terrorists. They said that the genocide of Shiites in Pakistan is a conspiracy against Pakistan.
They condemned the unannounced curfew imposed by Gilgit-Baltistan Government in Gilgit and demanded of the Federal and Provincial government to immediately arrest the culprits involved in the killing of Shia Muslims in Pakistan. They said the terrorists were fulfilling vested agenda of United States.
Over a dozen militants forced 20 passengers majority of them were Shia Muslims, off four buses and shot them at point blank range in the Mansehra district ten days a week ago, breaking the fragile peace in the region and marking the third such incident in six months for killing Shia Passengers.
