Shia Muslims observe Friday as a day of protest against the genocide of Shiites in all over Pakistan including Babusar tragedy and bomb attack on Quds Day rally. The call for protest day was given by Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri, secretary general of the Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM).
Whole of Gilgit-Baltistan province witnessed scenes of protest. Rallies were staged in the province like other parts of Pakistan after Friday prayers.
More than 25 Shiites of the province were massacred by nasbi takfiri terrorists of Sipah-e-Sahaba/Lashkar-e-Jhangvi after having been pulled out of their bus. The ferocious terrorists checked their identity by their identity cards and then killed them. These targeted killings occurred in Babusar area of Khyber-Pukhtoonkhwa province as the Shias were on their way to Gilgit-Baltistan.
In Baltistan, a rally was staged from Jamia Masjid Chowk to Hussaini Chowk. Another rally was taken out in Hunza from Ali Abad Jamia Masjid and culminated at the Colga Chowk.
In Punjabâ€™s provincial headquarter Lahore, numerous rallies were staged in Shia majority areas. The Shias of Samanabad, Shabab Chowk, Ichhra, Mochi Gate, Thokar Niaz Baig and other areas lodged their protest.
In Kashmore district of Sindh province, a protest rally was held in the district headquarter at Kandh Kot.
Protest rallies were staged in Quetta, Hyderabad, Larkana, Nawabshah, Sukkur, other parts of Sindh and almost all district headquarters in Punjab and some parts of Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa. Protest was also lodged in Parachinar area.
Karachi-based Shiites also observed day of protest on Friday against genocide of Shias, Babusar Tragedy and blast in Quds Day rallyâ€™s motorcade on a call from a leading Shia party.
After Friday prayers, rallies and demonstrations were staged outside Shia mosques. Main demonstration was held outside Noor-e-Iman Jamia Masjid. Hujjat ul Islam Maulana Sadiq Raza Taqvi, Mubashir Hussain, Hujjat ul Islam Maulana Mirza Yousuf Hussain, Maulana Ali Anwar, Mohammad Mehdi and Asghar Zaidi spoke to the protestors at different places.
They denounced the government, armed forces, judiciary and security agencies for their failure to stop terrorism and punish terrorists. They said that genocide of Shia Muslims and terrorism increased after the judiciary released terrorists. They said that Balochistan and Gilgit-Baltistan provinces make borders with other countries and genocide of Shiites and terrorism in these provinces is a conspiracy to encourage separatist tendency among people there. They said armed forces have failed to provide security in these bordering provinces.
They said that Babusar tragedy is a failure of the Khyber-Pukhtoonkhwa government. They said that there are individuals in Punjab government who publicly support banned terrorist groups such as Sipah-e-Sahaba and Lashkar-e-Jhangvi.
They said that roadside bomb attack on Quds Day rallyâ€™s motorcade was a proof that the United States and Zionist regime of Israel and their stooges are directly involved in terrorism in Pakistan.
They warned of a prolonged and stiff protest by staging sits-in around the rulers houses and offices if the genocide and anti-Shia terrorism is not stopped and if the terrorists are not hanged publicly.
They demanded registration of case of Quds Day rally attack against US Consul General based in Karachi.
In other parts of Pakistan, the leaders of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen spoke and condemned the terrorists and also denounced the government, security agencies and judiciary for their failure to play their active and effective role against the terrorists.
They said that genocide of Shia Muslims was intensified after judiciary released Malik Ishaq, known terrorist of banned Sipah-e-Sahaba and banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi and his abettors.
They said that Pakistan military should announce their failure against the terrorists because they and their intelligence agencies too failed to thwart anti-Shia terrorism.
They said government must chalk out a strong and fool proof policy to liquidate the terrorists. They demanded that all the terrorists involved in genocide and targeted killings of Shia Muslims should be hanged publicly forthwith.
They said that government imposed curfew and arrest Shiites notwithstanding the fact that Shias are victims of terrorism. They condemned the policy of victimization of the victims and a free hand to terrorists.
MWM and their allied parties and individuals warned the government that they would prolong and intensify their protest campaign against the government, judiciary and the security forces if they continue to fail against the terrorists.
They demanded a peaceful and respectful life for Pakistani Shiites and an immediate end to the ongoing genocide of Shia Muslims in all over Pakistan.
