Three terrorists of an outlawed group AhleSunnat Wal Jamaat (ASWJ) were killed in a shootout with police in Dera Ghazi Khan on Thursday.
According to a police spokesman, policemen were taking two accused of attacks on Ahmadi worship places to recover hidden arms when four to five armed men opened firing at police party on Indus Highway near Taunsa Bypass and got freed the two detained men.
“Police chased the attackers and in an encounter at Pull Gajoji three accused Mohammad Hanif, Raja Iftikhar and an unidentified gunman were killed,” the spokesman further said.
The slain accused were members of a banned group AhleSunnat Wal Jamaat (ASWJ) , the spokesman added.
Its pertaining to mention here that notorious terrorist group AhleSunnat Wal Jamaat aka Lashkar-e-Jhangvi involved in the terrorist attacks on Shiite and Sunni Beralvi Muslims beside the attacks on Ahmadi, Hindu and Christian minorities in the country to sabotage the peace of pakistan on Indian agenda.
