Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Secretary Ali Shamkhani met PM Nawaz Sharif
The secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Rear Admiral Ali Shamkhani, while talking about the relations between the two countries in a meeting with PM Nawaz Sharif, said “Friendly and constructive relations between Iran and Pakistan will never get affected by the change of governments”.
Ali Shamkhani declared the same stance of both countries upon issues of political and economic security, peace in Afghanistan, fight against extremism and terrorism, as a way to increase the mutual operation.
The secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council while praising Pakistan government’s realistic and independent opinion with regard to the Yemen crisis said “Use of power by some countries to influence their neighboring countries has been paving the way for instability in the region and rules of good neighborhood have been ignored by following this policy”.
Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif while congratulating the Iranian official over the atomic deal between Iran and 5+1 group said “In the new situation, Iran will be able to play its role in both regional and International relations in a better and more positive way. After the atomic deal, economic and trade relations between Iran and Pakistan will also increase and more opportunities for cooperation will come up”.
Pakistan’s PM while announcing Pakistan’s consent for further strengthening the economic relations between the two countries said “Our government has vowed to complete the Iran-Pakistan gas pipeline project as soon as possible and cooperation with Iran in fields of electricity and power is also among Pakistan’s priorities”.
