DG Rangers visited Jacobabad and inspected the location of blast, paid condolences to Shia leaders

DG Rangers visited Jacobabad and inspected the location where blast took place. He also paid condolences to Shia leaders and was given briefing over election situation by the district administration.

According to details, Director General Rangers Major General Bilal Akbar reached Jacobabad yesterday and visited the place where the suicide attack took place on 9th Muharram. He also met Shia leader Allama Maqsood Ali Domki at DC’s office and paid condolences over the loss of lives in the attack and also asked about the details of the incident. MWM’s leader Allama Maqsood Ali Domki while talking to the DG rangers said “Our only demand is the operation against the terrorists and their supporters. Our demands after the Shikarpur incident were neglected due to which Jacobabad incident took place. Had the operation been conducted against terrorists and their supporters after the Shikarpur incident this incident of Jacobabaad would not have taken place”.

Allama Maqsood Ali Domki said “banned organizations should be cracked down. Training centers of terrorists are present in the entire Sindh including Shikarpur and Jacobabad and they need to be destroyed”.

People of all schools of thoughts and religions will participate in the protest to be conducted on 20th Muharram ul Haram in Jacobabad “, he added.

Allama Maqsood Ali Domki also told that he was assured by the DG rangers that it was their duty to eradicate terrorism from the country and that they have been conducting operation against terrorists. DG Rangers further told that the government and military are united over the eradication of terrorism and will not settle for anything less than the complete eradication of terrorism from the country.

DG Rangers was also briefed by the district returning officer Shah Zaman Khoro about the municipal elections and the situation of the district over which DG Rangers assured to maintain peace during the elections.
