Taliban’s militant wing freely operating in the city: Shahi Syed
President of ANP Sindh Shahi Syed gave all the credit of Karachi operation to the Army chief but also said “It is not justice that militant wing of Taliban is freely moving in the city and we are advised to be precautious in our election campaigns. He expressed these thoughts while addressing the public meeting in UC 10 of Gulistan Colony in Liyari, district north.
General Secretary of ANP Sindh Younus Khan Boneri, Information Secretary Hameed Ullah Khatak, District President Abdul Qayyum Salarzai, Syed Haneef Shah Agha, Candidate for Chairman Subhan Khan and ward President Wali Khan Afghan also addressed the public meeting.
Senator Shahi Syed, in his address, appreciated Chaudhry Nisar’s efforts for Karachi operation. He further said “we want Liyari to be a peaceful area and that is why we demand operation in Karachi prior to elections”. He also appreciated DG ISI and DG Rangers determination for establishing peace in Karachi and demanded that a level playing field to be provided to them for doing politics in the city. “There should not be any restriction on our organizational activities”, he added.
