A high-level delegation of MWM led by Allama Ahmed Iqbal Rizvi held meeting with chief-minister Khyber PakhtunKhwa Perwaiz Khattak at chief-minister house, Peshawar. Provincial ministers Mushtaq Ghani and Ali Ameen Gandapur were present in the meeting, while MWM delegation comprised of central leaders of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Nasir Abbas Shirazi, Asad Naqvi, Agha Iqbal Bahishti, member Balochistan Assembly Agha Muhammad Raza and Agha Sebtain Hussain al-Hussaini. On this occasion, IG Nasir Khan Durrani, Home Secretary, members provincial assembly (MPAs) of Hungu, Dera Ismail Khan, Peshawar, and Hazarajat and other high officials were also present.
Matters of immediate arrest of killers of martyrs, properly following the cases of terrorism in courts, important cases will be sent to military court, financial aid of families of martyrs and provision of jobs for descendants of martyrs were agreed in the meeting.
Chief-minister also approved five member coordination committee to address the problems faced by Millat Jaffria in the province. This committee is comprised of provincial minister Mushtaq Ghani, Ali Ameen Gandapur, another member of provincial assembly, and Nasir Shirazi and Asad Naqvi of MWM.
Pervaiz Khattak gave assurance to MWM delegation that in the next session of Apex committee, we will approve operation in the areas suffered from Target killing of Shia Muslims will be started and cases of target killing of Shia Muslims be trialed in military court.
Note that three days ago, Head of Pakistan Tehreek Insaaf Imran Khan assured Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jaffri during his visit of MWM hunger strike camp and meeting with Allama Raja Nasir that Khyber Pakhtunkhawa government will address all complaints of MWM and will ensure the arrest of killers. Today’s meeting with Chief minister Pervaiz Khattak is a sequence of this series.
It is noteworthy that Central Secretary General Majlis Wahdat Muislimeen Pakistan Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jaffri has been on hunger strike since May 13 against the terrorism in Pakistan, Shia massacre and government’s hesitance to curb Takfiri terrorists.a
