Majlis Wahdat ul Muslimeen (MWM) Pakistan central spokesman Allama Mukhtar Imami has asked MWM activists across Pakistan to wear black armbands during Eid processions to show support to their leader’s cause.
MWM leader Allama Raja Nasir Abbas is on a hunger strike against ‘Shia Genocide’ in Pakistan since May 13 in front of Islamabad Press Club. MWM has set up a hunger camp and till date the strike continues marking it the 54th day today.
Mukhtar Imami said that Allama Nasir’s hunger strike is against militancy in Pakistan which has been widely appreciated and supported by religious and political parties. The only party to have not been affected by the strike is the REGIME itself.
Imami alleged that the governments’ arrogance iterates that they are party to the same militants which they claim to be fighting. He emphasized on the recent event in which banned organizations were collection donations in front of a mosque under the patronage of law enforcement agencies. He stated that it reflects the regime’s mind-set. They wish to establish an intolerant nation – a Takfiri State with one sect only and rest to be ousted. The routine killing of our innocent Shiites in Pakistan till date stands as a disgrace to the National Action Plan and Operation Zarb-e-Azb.
Imami said that we stand as proud Pakistani’s with a will to oust this non tolerant ideology off the homeland; where no other person is safe; where you are not free; where you are libeled?
MWM spokesman Mukhtar Imami in the end expressed that wearing black armbands during Eid prayer will reflect our will to bring about a change. It is give way to a new protest and show allegiance to our leader who sits on his claim for the last 54 days.
