Allama Nasir Abbas Jafari says no anti-terrorism policy will succeed if Shiites are not consulted

raja gAllama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari, head of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, has welcomed the statement of federal interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan against terrorism that he made at a press conference.
“We welcome should the government act upon what the interior minister has said in his press conference,” Allama Jafari said in his reaction to the press conference.

However, he made it clear that no policy on the issue would succeed if the Shia Muslims are not consulted. He said that Pakistani Shiites are the first victims of the terrorists and they know how to counter and foil the terrorists that is why he urged the government to include Shiites in anti-terrorism policy.

“First of all, there must be no talks with the terrorists. Begin a counter-war on terrorists and amnesty should be allowed to only those who surrender,” he proposed.

He offered Shiites cooperation in the government’s anti-terrorism policy. He urged the JUIF Chief Fazal ur Rehman, Jamaat-e-Islami’s head Munawar Hassan and all Deobandi leaders and scholars to express hatred and ven anger over the terrorists instead of making efforts for mediation.

“The security and stability of Pakistan has been put at stake hence there is a dire need to bury the differences and join hands against the terrorists. There is no good or bad, terrorists are terrorists,” he asserted.
